At Trojala, we work exclusively with women artisans who have practiced the craft of wool felting for generations. Many of them learned the technique from their mothers and grandmothers, and have spent years creating beautiful, handmade felt products as part of a living tradition passed down through their families.
Despite this skill, many artisans have historically had limited access to education and technology, which has made it difficult for them to reach customers beyond their local communities. Trojala felt collection exists to close that gap - helping these women bring their craftsmanship to a global market and earn a fair income from work they have practiced their whole lives.

We source only high-quality materials and work with producers who never use harmful chemicals during production. Our felt makers use Swiss dyeing technology to achieve rich, long-lasting colors without compromising on safety or sustainability.
Every workshop we partner with maintains a safe, fair working environment - because ethical production and product quality go hand in hand.
- Custom Orders
Most of our felt products can be custom made in the color or design of your choice. Custom orders typically require a lead time of around 2 months for delivery.
*Artesanal product note: Each product is entirely handmade by artisans, which means no two pieces are perfectly identical. Small variations in color, texture, size, or pattern placement compared to the photos are normal and expected - they're part of the charm of a genuine handmade product, not a defect.
